Have food prices changed since Trump’s inauguration? We are tracking it.

Trump promised to lower grocery prices. We looked into the cost of a BLT, a fast-food meal, a backyard BBQ, and a breakfast — to show people how that promise really went. The tracker updated weekly for a year.

I set up the data pipeline to enable daily updates from the external data provider Numerator for a year and compared the change in food prices with the change in real wages.
